Lost Worlds Brewing
Lost Worlds Brewing opened in Cornelius in April 2020 (originally March 2020) with an archaeology, history, and adventure theme inspired by explorers' clubs. The brewery was founded to create a basecamp for like-minded adventure-seekers to craft their next adventure while enjoying quality beer. The 95-seat taproom in Cornelius is festooned with curios from around the world, with views into their 10BBL brewing system. Director of Brewing David Gonzalez, a 20-year craft beer industry veteran, leads the brewing operations alongside Head Brewer Harrison. The 150-seat outdoor biergarten is dog-friendly. In 2023, they opened a second location in Charlotte's Metropolitan area. Lost Worlds features morning coffee service, an in-house kitchen Tuesday through Saturday, and hosts regular events including Monday trivia, line dance lessons, Cars and Coffee, and Oktoberfest. Each beer tells a story inspired by historical discoveries and adventures.
