Goseck Black Lager is a German Schwarzbier-style beer – a style that is one of the oldest continually brewed beers. Schwarzbiers are dark like a stout in color due to the roasted malt used in its brewing with hints of chocolate and toffee. Our take on this ancient style blends light roasted and bready malt notes with a noble-like hop character. Born in the German states of Thuringia and Saxony, this dark lager pairs well with the approach of autumn and winter.
