Hi-Wire Brewing opened their Charlotte location in South End in July 2022, bringing Asheville's award-winning lagers and ales to the Queen City. This is Hi-Wire's eighth location and first to feature two separate bars with a total of 36 taps of Hi-Wire beer, including year-rounds, seasonals, specialties, sours, and one-offs, plus wine and cider. The 8,743-square-foot taproom features high ceilings, walls of windows, and a 2,000-square-foot outdoor beer garden. This family and pet-friendly, activity-heavy taproom includes interactive games like table tennis, foosball, and shuffleboard, plus vibrant 360-degree murals by Asheville artist Ian Wilkinson. Located across from Pins Mechanical and next to Benny Ferrovia's pizza, it's become a South End destination.
