Free Range Brewing opened in July 2015 in NoDa, founded by brothers Jeff and Jason Alexander. This neighborhood brewery specializes in taproom craft beer, farmhouse ales, wild ales, and IPAs, using locally sourced ingredients with percentages labeled on their beer menu. The brewery oozes authenticity with a laid-back, neighborhood bar feel. Located directly next to Rhino Market (customers can bring food in), Free Range offers a variety of bar snacks and features an intimate back room that doubles as a live music venue. The family-friendly brewery has outdoor space for guests and their dogs, and is known for friendly bartenders and chill vibes. They host regular community events including their famous annual New Year's Day free soup event.

SHELLEM'S MUSSEL BEACH is a lovely and light, thirst-quenching kölsch brewed with the saltiest, most mineral-rich mussels that our good friend Ana Shellem of Shell'em Seafood could get her hands on.
