Lore Brewing
Lore Brewing Company is Indian Land, South Carolina's first brewery, founded by siblings Dave and Danielle (who grew up in NC and West Virginia respectively) who met in Charlotte in 2009. After years of homebrewing and a trip to Colorado to shadow at a brewery, they opened Lore in their adopted hometown. The name is inspired by folklore - 'the traditional beliefs, customs, and stories of a community, passed through the generations.' All beers are named after aspects of folklore including mythological creatures, urban legends, and fairytales. The family-owned brewery features 24 taps with fresh rotating beers and seltzers made on-site, plus guest cider, cocktails, and plenty of non-alcoholic options. With a full food menu and both indoor and outdoor seating, Lore hosts weekly events including Music Bingo on Tuesdays, Live Music Thursday and Saturday, Book Club, themed trivia nights (Elf, Christmas Vacation), and last-Saturday Karaoke.
