King Canary Brewing
King Canary Brewing Company opened in May 2018 in a beautifully remodeled 4,500-square-foot multi-story home overlooking a cove of Lake Norman. Founded by Matt and Andrea Gravina, who left their Florida corporate careers to pursue their dream of opening a family-friendly microbrewery, the brewery quickly made an impact on the Lake Norman area. Tragically, Matt unexpectedly passed away in August 2019, less than a year and a half after opening. With tremendous support from the community, family, and staff, Andrea persevered and has grown the brewery into a thriving business. The converted house features multiple rooms with vintage arcade games, board games, a kids' playroom upstairs, and a deck overlooking the lake. Known for approachable, highly drinkable beers across many styles, especially IPAs and fruited sours.
