Keepsake Brewery
Keepsake Brewery is a small family-owned brewery in Gastonia that opened in February 2024, owned and operated by Bobby Myers and Katherine Long alongside their Catahoula leopard dog, Gumbo. Bobby brings traditional education in brewing from VLB in Berlin, Germany, focusing on classic beer styles with quality and balance. Keepsake specializes in producing Helles Lager, Hefeweizen, Pale Ale, and Black Lager, along with seasonal offerings—all crafted with care and intention. All beers are naturally carbonated, unpasteurized, unfiltered, and unfined. In an effort to minimize waste and promote sustainability, Keepsake uses reusable containers including returnable 500ml glass bottles, kegs, and growlers. The 2,000-square-foot brewery near downtown Gastonia offers a cozy taproom experience.
